Chili cook off at

St. Mary Church

St. Mary Church, 506 Fourth St. Marietta, will hold its annual Chili Cook Off from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 10 in the church basement. The cost is $5 for all the chili you can eat, and includes hot dogs. The event is open to the public and sponsored by the Catholic Womens Club.

Program for female cancer survivors

Female cancer survivors in treatment or who have recently finished treatment are invited to a free American Cancer Society program. “The Look Good Feel Better” program teaches beauty techniques to women who are actively undergoing cancer treatment to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of radiation and chemotherapy. Each participant will receive a free makeup kit worth $300. The program is being held at Strecker Cancer Center in Belpre from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday. Registration is required by calling 1-800-227-2345.

to meet Monday

The Washington State Community College Board of Trustees will meet at 4 p.m. Monday in the Center for Business & Technology on the college campus.

Masonic Lodge soup luncheon in Beverly

The Beverly Masonic Lodge will hold a soup luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 10. There will be all-you-can-eat soup, sandwiches and dessert. Donations will be accepted. Carry out and delivery is available by calling 984-2826.

Winter craft show

at Harmar Center

Boys & Girls Club/Harmar Community Center will hold a Craft and Vendor Winter Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 2 at the center, 307 Lancaster St. Admission is $2. There will be a raffle and food available for purchase throughout the day.

The Betsey Mills Club’s Chicken Pot Pie Fundraiser ‘Comfort Food at Its Finest’ will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 22 (takeout only) and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (dine-in) and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (takeout) Feb. 23. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets are on sale now at The Betsey Mills Club.
