Adrienne Adams and Jerrod Branham were united in marriage on Sept. 22, 2012, at 10 a.m. on the beach in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Valorie Adams of Cutler. She is the granddaughter of Rosalie and Charlie McDonald and the late James Hughey, Doris Smithberger and the late Richard Adams. She earned her bachelor’s degree from West Liberty University and is working as a full time dental hygienist for Dr. Lori Hawkins.
The bridegroom is the son of Greg and Kim Branham of Waterford. He is the grandson of the late Edgar Branham and the late Gay Branham, Bob and Sandy McCutcheon and the late Jerry Hysell. He is working full time at Globe Metallurgical as an operator.
The bride was escorted by her father and received her parents’ blessing on her marriage. She wore an A-line strapless gown of white chiffon. It was accented with beads and lace along the bodice, hemline, and down the cathedral length train. She wore a shoulder length veil matching the gown and carried a hand bouquet of fuchsia gerber daisies, sage pompsand, and purple larksberg wrapped in chiffon and beading to match her dress.
Abigail and Allison Adams, sisters of the bride, served as maids of honor. The bride’s attendants included Brittany Grell, sister of the bridegroom, Lacey Valentine and Morgan Allen. They wore Caribbean blue chiffon dresses accented with a strap of flowers on one shoulder. The short dresses were accented with beaded, soleless sandals. They carried bouquets similar to the bride’s. The flower girl was Lyla Grell, niece of the bridegroom, dressed in a white knee length dress carrying a bucket of colored sand that she sprinkled along the aisle.
The bridegroom wore khaki pants, white shirt and a white tie. Richard Adams, brother of the bride, served as best man. The bridegroom’s attendants included Jason Grell, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, Michael Hill, Jeremy Hanson and Travis Schaad. They wore khaki pants, white shirts, and ties that matched the honor attendants’ dresses.
Immediately following the wedding the guests joined for a luncheon. Two weeks after their marriage they also celebrated with family and friends at the K of C Hall in Churchtown with a dinner and dance. They currently reside in Beverly.
