MOV’n Dragons pasta dinner, auction

The MOV’n Dragons pasta dinner and silent auction will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday in the Betsey Mills Club gym, 300 Fourth St., Marietta. Tickets cost $7 each and $4 for children under 5 and are available from team members and at the door. Dinners include pasta, meat or vegetarian sauce, salad, bread, dessert, and beverage and are available for dine-in or carry-out. The dinner is sponsored by the MOV’n Dragons dragon boat team.

Williamstown band sponsors bingo

The Williamstown High School band is sponsoring bingo featuring Pampered Chef and Longaberger baskets to be held in the high school cafeteria March 9. Doors open at 5 p.m. and games begin at 6. The price is 20 games for $20. There will be concessions, raffles and a 50/50.

Salem Twp. VFD serves fish fry

The Salem Township Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the station on Ohio 821. The cost is a donation.

Library committees plan meetings

The Washington County Public Library Budget, Finance and Audit committee meeting will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in the main library meeting room, 615 Fifth St., Marietta.

The library Facilities & Technology committee meeting will be at noon Tuesday at Tiber Way Grille, 10 Tiber Way, Marietta.

The library Board of Trustees regular meeting will be held at 4 p.m. March 20, 2013, in the main library meeting room.

Relay For Life fundraiser lunch

The Stewart Family Relay For Life team will hold a fundraiser soup luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Beverly United Methodist Church. There will be all types of soups, sandwiches and desserts available. Donations will be accepted.

Garden club plans for county fair

The Washington County Garden Club will meet at 10 a.m. March 8. The meeting will be held in the Red Cross building at 401 Fourth Street, Marietta. Plans for the Washington County Fair Flower Show (Aug. 31) will be discussed. Everyone attending is asked to bring a covered dish for the lunch.
