The Village of Beverly Board of Public Affairs will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Monday at the village office, 919 Mitchell Ave., to consider a change order on the waterline replacement project.

at wildlife refuge

A free viewing of “Birders: The Central Park Effect” documentary will be held at the Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The movie will be shown at Refuge Headquarters, 3982 Waverly Road, Williamstown. The Friends of the Ohio River Islands NWR will be sponsoring the event.

An Easter egg hunt will be held at Parr Hill Community Church on Ohio 7 in Beavertown at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Belpre Relay For Life yard sale April 5

The Belpre Cancer Blasters Relay For Life team will hold a “This N That Inside Yard Sale” from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 5 and 6 at the Belpre Lions Club on Murray Street in Belpre.

Stronger families topic of program

Family & Children First is sponsoring a spring session of the Strengthening Families 10-14 Program. The program, for parents and youth ages 10 to 14, is a parent, youth, and family skills-building curriculum designed to build family strengths; strengthen parenting skills; and prevent teen substance abuse and other behavior problems. The seven-week session is free, with dinner and child care provided, along with transportation assistance. The spring session will be held Tuesdays, April 2 through May 14 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at the Ely Chapman Center in Marietta. For more information and to register, call 376-7081.
