Beverly-Waterford area Chamber dinner
The Beverly-Waterford Area Chamber Dinner will be held Thursday at the American Legion Hall and will feature “The Singing Nuns.” Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30. Driver Safety Day Saturday at Strecker
A Community Driver Safety Day event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Strecker Cancer Center Conference Room at Marietta Memorial Hospital. The event will include speakers from local law enforcement agencies, the Washington County Career Center Adult Technical Training Truck Driving Academy, testimonies from those who have been “victims” in driving errors and a driver rehab team. There will also be driver safety demonstrations with a mock crash scene with MedFlight flying in, a texting and driving demonstration and an 18 wheeler blind spot demonstration. Italian food to be served Sunday
An Italian feast and raffle will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary’s School, Third and Marion streets, Marietta. The menu will include lasagna, fettuccine alfredo, spaghetti, salad, bread, and dessert. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under and free for those 5 and under.
‘Taste of Fine Art’ event Sunday
The Ely Chapman Education Foundation will hold “A Taste of Fine Art” featuring student and community artists from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the foundation, 403 Scammel St., Marietta. There will be a silent auction, live auction at 5:30 and a spaghetti dinner with all-you-can-eat spaghetti, salad and garlic bread. The cost is $10 per person, or $5 for those under 12 and $25 for a family of four or more.

The Little Muskingum Volunteer Fire Department, 15015 State Route 26, will hold a roasted chicken or ham dinner at 4 p.m. Saturday.
