Relay for Life team plans rummage sale

The Washington County Relay For Life team St. Bernard C.W.C. will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the St. Bernard’s social hall in Beverly. All proceeds will benefit the Washington County Relay For Life.

Chamber dinner will feature Singing Nuns

The Beverly-Waterford Area Chamber Dinner will be held Thursday at the American Legion Hall and will feature “The Singing Nuns.” Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30. Program on hearing safety on the farm

The Washington County Farm Bureau will present a Beltone program on hearing safety on the farm at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Washington County Career Center Adult Training Building Room 602. The program is open to the public.

Free presentation on financial aid process

The Marietta Noon Rotary Club will sponsor a free presentation by Rotarian Dan Jones on paying for college and the financial aid process. Families of high school juniors and sophomores who are planning on some form of education after high school are welcome. The presentation will take a little more than an hour in a workshop setting and note taking is encouraged. It will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 25 at the Microtel Inn and Suites in Marietta.

Library board will meet at Beverly site

The Washington County Public Library board of trustees next regular meeting will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Beverly branch library meeting room.

School’s finance committee will meet

There will be a Fort Frye Local School District finance committee meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday in the superintendent’s office located in Beverly-Center Elementary School, 510 Fifth St., Beverly.
