Frontier’s choir

presents ‘Teen’

The Frontier High and Middle School Choir’s seventh and eighth grade members will present the musical, “Teen!” at 2 p.m. Sunday in the school cafetorium. Admission for the musical is $2 for adults and $1 for children. “Teen!” portrays a slice of a teenager’s life from Friday to Monday. It encompasses many of the experiences associated with becoming a teenager: first love, dances, teenage birthday parties, teenage rebellion and the change of attitude towards greater independence.

Switzerland schools board meets Mond.

The Switzerland of Ohio Local Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at 304 Mill St., Woodsfield. The purpose of the meeting is to hold a work session, with no public participation.

Belpre school board meets Monday

The Belpre City Schools Board of Education will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the Stone Administration/Early Learning Center.

Hydrant flushing

in Harmar Monday

The Marietta Fire Department will start hydrant flushing the lower Harmar area starting Monday. The process will continue into June. Customers are advised to watch for discolored water and once flushing is complete to flush their cold water lines. If problems persist, they can call the Water Treatment Plant at 374-6864.

DAV bake sale at Tractor Supply

Disabled American Veterans Unit #52 will hold a bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Tractor Supply in Marietta.

Kid’s Day at Marietta Church of Christ

Kid’s Day at the Marietta Church of Christ, 228 S. Seventh St. in Marietta will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. There will be Bible lesson, crafts, games, music and food. Kindergarten through high school students are welcome.
