Dinner with gospel, country music

The Decatur Community Association will sponsor a dinner with live gospel and country music from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Cutler Community Center, 4550 Two Mile Run Road, Cutler. The menu will be country fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, biscuits, homemade desserts and coffee, tea or lemonade. The cost for adults is $7 and the cost for children ages 6 to 12 is $4. The proceeds will benefit the Cutler Community Center.

Parking lot resealing at Wildlife refuge

The Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center in Williamstown will be resealing all parking lots and paved trail today and Thursday. There will be at least one parking lot available for visitors to park in each day. The Visitor Center and nature trails will remain open during regular hours.

Frontier FFA taking strawberry orders

Frontier FFA is taking orders for Chandler Strawberry plants to be planted in the late summer and be harvested next spring. Plugs will be 27 cents/per plant and must be ordered by July 1. Orders may be placed by calling 865-3441, Ext. 2163.

to meet Monday

The Tri-County Rural Water and Sewer District will hold its next regular board meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at its office at 20 Anderson Lane, Waterford.

Father’s Day car show Sunday

The Marietta Noon Lions Club will hold the 21st annual Father’s Day Car Show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in Muskingum Park. The entry fee is $10. There will be a 50/50 drawing, door prizes and the Lions Club food trailer.

Belpre library offers ‘Dig Into Reading’

The Belpre Library will hold Camp Buckeye with a “Dig Into Reading” theme from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursdays starting this week. There will be crafts, games and guest speakers to discuss what’s under the surface of the earth. Those ages 2 to 10 are welcome along with a guardian.
