Roundtable meeting

The next Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce Professional Women’s Roundtable will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at DaVinci’s, 215 Highland Ave., Williamstown. The topic for the meeting is “Dust Mites, Allergens and Dirt Oh My!” with featured speaker Steve Ragan of Sleep Green Ohio Valley. The cost of each meeting is $10 for members and $15 for the general public, and includes lunch. Reservations are required. Beekeepers group to meet Tuesday

The Mid-Ohio Valley Beekeepers’ Association will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Washington County Career Center. Topics for discussion include swarm retrieval and other questions about beekeeping. Visitors are welcome at all meetings.

MHS?Class of 1952 meets Wednesday

The Marietta High School Class of 1952 will have its monthly luncheon at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Dutch Pantry in Williamstown. All classmates and friends are welcome.

‘River Critters’ wildlife program

The Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge will be holding the “River Critters” wildlife program for children at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the visitor center located at 3982 Waverly Road in Williamstown. Children ages 4-15 will explore the different species of mussels, fish and turtles that live in the Ohio River. The program is free and approximately 1 to 2 hours long. This is a family activity and parents or guardians are required to be present. The program takes place outdoors and closed toe shoes are recommended.

Tri-County financial report available

The annual financial report of the Tri-County Rural Water and Sewer District for the year 2012 has been completed and is available at the office of the district, 20 Anderson Lane, Waterford, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
