Piano trio to perform at the Castle
The Trillium Piano Trio will perform from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at The Castle in Marietta, presenting compositions of Robert Schumann and Sergei Rachmaninoff.
Limited handicapped parking is available via the alley (High School Lane) behind the Castle, between Fourth and Fifth streets. All other parking is on Fourth or Wooster streets.
Frontier board meets tonight
The Frontier Local Schools June Board of Education meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. today at the Frontier High library.
Liberty Twp. budget hearing July 8
The annual budget hearing meeting for Liberty Township will be held at 7 p.m. July 8 at the township hall to discuss the fiscal year 2014. The public is invited to attend. Also, the budget can be reviewed Monday through Friday after 7 p.m. at the fiscal officer’s residence.

Youth Days events at Moss Run church
Youth Days events will be held Friday and Saturday at Moss Run Community Church. From 5 p.m. until midnight Friday middle and high school students are invited for games, a movie, music, food and a campfire. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday preschool and elementary school students are invited for games, crafts, music, food, prizes and Bible stories.
Stone Soup to meet Sunday at Marietta
Stone Soup, a local LGBTQIA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex and asexual) group will hold an open meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, Third and Putnam streets, Marietta. The group’s goal is to embrace diversity by facilitating social gatherings and educational workshops to promote mutual respect and awareness.

Rabies vaccination clinic July 13
A rabies vaccinations clinic for dogs and cats will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. July 13 at the Washington County Health Department, 342 Muskingum Drive, Marietta. The cost is $7 per animal. Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers. All animals must be at least 12 weeks old.
