Fishing derby a success thanks to many

On behalf of the Peoples Bank Fishing Derby committee, we would like to thank Susie Joyce and the facilities department for getting our grant and the city of Marietta for the use of Buckeye Park. We also would like to thank Eric Bear of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Dean Sinclair, the Washington County wildlife specialist, for their help with our eighth annual kid’s fishing derby on June 15.

We also want to thank Marietta Civitan Club for again donating, fixing and serving lunch for us this year.
