Church taking orders for new food program

Second Congregational Church will be taking orders for a new food program, Smart Choice Foods, at the church on Thursday, July 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday July 13 from 9 to 11 a.m. The last day to order food online is July 16 by 6 p.m. Food will be distributed at the church on July 27 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The church is still unable to accept EBT food stamps at this time, but all other forms of payment can be accepted. There are no income guidelines or limits to how much can be purchased. Second Congregational Church is located at 1855 Greene St., Marietta.
The menu includes: Smart Box, $36; Savory Select Meals, $24 new price; Value #1, Variety Grill Box, $29; Value #2, 10 lb. boneless/skinless Chicken Breast, $25; Value #3, 5 lb. Fish Stick Box, $19; Value #4, Summertime Kids Box, $25; Value #5, 5 lb. breaded chicken chunks, $14 Super Value Box of the Month; Value #6, 12 lb. Light Spare Rib Box, $34; Value #7, 10 lbs. breaded chicken pieces, $20.
Smart Choice Foods is also available at the Celebration Center of Belpre, Ohio. They currently only accept orders online at www.smartchoicefood.com.
