Graysville VFD carnival Fri., Sat.
The Graysville Community Volunteer Fire Department Carnival will be held at the firehouse on Ohio 26 Friday and Saturday. There will be euchre both days at 1:30 p.m., a parade at 7 p.m. Friday with line-up at 6 and a country store both evenings. There will be food available and performances Saturday by Tom and Carol Wriston from 7 to 8 p.m. and The Right Combination from 9 to 10 p.m.
Warren 1978 class reunion set for Aug.
The Warren High School Class of 1978 will hold its 35th reunion Aug. 10. A dinner will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 5080 School House Road, Little Hocking. Social time begins at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30. The dress is casual. Dinner reservations are $20 per person and must be received by July 20. Free legal clinic offered Wednesday
The Washington County Bar Association and Southeastern Ohio Legal Services will hold a free legal clinic from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 320 Second St., Marietta. Walk-ins are welcome. The clinic is for Washington County residents unable to afford legal representation (less than 187 percent of the poverty guideline).

Belpre church offers hot dog supper
Belpre Heights United Methodist Church, 720 Clement Ave. is having a hot dog supper every Wednesday from 5 to 6 p.m. There will be hot dogs, chips and a drink free for all the neighborhood children, parents and grandparents. Those attending are also invited to bring water guns.
Williamstown Eagles hold square dance
The Williamstown Eagles will hold a square dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday with 4 Hits and a Miss. The cost is $4. There will be a 50/50 drawing, cake walk and food available.

Flushing of water systems planned
The fire/water departments will be flushing the water distribution system on Marietta’s west side next week, starting Tuesday. Affected areas are: Harmar Hill, Ohio 676 to the Washington County Career Center, Gilman Street to Oak Grove, Oak Grove.
