Alfred M. Noland

April 11, 1938 – July 8, 2013

Alfred “Al” M. Noland, 75, died July 8, 2013, at home near Vancouver, Wash.

He was born in Marietta to Everett and Katheryn (Martin) Noland. He graduated from Marietta High School in 1955. Al retired from the Air Force after 22 years of dedicated service. Then he got his associate degrees in business and business management. Al was a Master Gardener and at one time owned a landscape and lawn care business near Tacoma, Wash. His last business was furniture repair in Clark County, Wash., where he has lived for over 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Bridget; his son, Kevhan Zydhek; and two stepchildren. He is also survived by four siblings, all from the Marietta area, Rosemary (Howard) Ellis, Harold (Carol) Noland, Nancy (Richard) Patterson, and Janice (Carl) Maze.

A graveside service with military honors was held July 19 in Vancouver.
