Top-notch, big-city jazz at Skyline Cafe

One Saturday night in August, the Skyline Cafe took on the aura of the Blue Note and the Village Vanguard. The James Scott Group entertained a sold out crowd with cool, top quality jazz. It reminded me of previous visits to the two best New York City jazz clubs.

The quartet led by James Scott on the guitar, Bruce DeMoll playing a mean soprano sax, bass guitarist Clay Paschal, and Dave Nuss on the keyboard played top notch and audience captivating jazz. A real treat for the capacity crowd.

Thanks to Steve Barros, Skyline Cafe owner, and the James Scott Group for bringing a big-city jazz, top notch performance to Marietta.
