Patricia (Dye) Christopher, of Fleming, passed away Monday (Aug. 26, 2013) at the home of her daughter.
She was born Jan. 4, 1934, to the late Clayton and Mary Dye. She married the late Bill Christopher on Oct. 6, 1956, in Marietta.
She is survived by one daughter, Rose Decker of Fleming; one son, Richard (Toni) Christopher of North Port, Fla.; grandchildren, Stephanie (LaVant) Christopher of Canal Winchester, Todd (Stephanie) Neville of Fleming, Rikki Christopher of Fort Myers, Fla., Kelli (Scott) Boley of Vienna, W.Va., and Justin O’Brien (Joyce) of Chesterhill; great-grandchildren, Emilee Neville, Kyli Boley, Ty and Shyli O’Brien, and Maleki King; two brothers, Paul (Helen) Dye of Canton and Delbert (Sheila) Dye of Belpre; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Rowena (Harold) Braken, Sarah (Herman) Gossett and Alice (Clem) Tieman; and two brothers, Robert (Ganelle) Dye and David Dye; and a son-in-law, Jack Decker.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday (Aug. 29, 2013) at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Tunnel Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services.
