Lunch and music at noon Sun. in Cutler

Jim Blair and Friends will host lunch and music from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Cutler Community Center. A fee will be charged for lunch. Special guests will be Lighthouse Ambassadors.

Free legal clinic Wednesday night

The Washington County Bar Association and Southeastern Ohio Legal Services will hold a free legal clinic from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 320 Second St., Marietta. Walk-ins are welcome. The clinic is for Washington County residents unable to afford legal representation (less than 187 percent of the poverty guideline).

Fearing Twp. trustees to meet

The Fearing Township trustees regular meeting for September has been moved to 6:30 p.m. Monday at the township office in Stanleyville.

Goodwill truck to visit communities

The Marietta Goodwill truck will be in different area communities accepting gently used or new clothing, furniture and household items. For dates and times the truck will be in your area, call the Marietta store at 373-1304 between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday or noon to 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Family & Children Council to meet

The next Washington County Family & Children First Council meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Family & Children First office, 202 Davis Ave.

Kid’s Archaeology Day at museum

Kid’s Archaeology Day will be held at the Campus Martius Museum Sept. 21. Participants will learn how to make arrowheads or spear points, learn how to use an atlatl, find out about artifact identification and more. Activities will be continuous throughout the day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Displays will be set up and experts will be available to answer questions. Regular admission to the museum applies: Children, $4 and adults, $7.
