Steak and chicken dinner at Post 750

American Legion Post 750 in Lowell will have a strip steak or chicken breast meal from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday. All meals come with bread, salad, coffee or water. Meals are eat-in or carry-out. The cost is $10 for a steak dinner, $7 for a chicken dinner and $5 for a no-meat meal.

Dice run, Jam Fest on Saturday

The nonprofit organization Southeastern Ohio Sinners-N-Saints Inc. will host a dice run coupled with the MOCO Jam Fest, on Saturday. The run will leave the Valley Inn in Beverly from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A dice run consists of rolling dice at various stops designated on a route. The price is $10 per person or $15 per couple. The run will end at the MOCO Jam Fest, 4177 East State Route 60 NE McConnelsville. All dice run participants will receive free admission to the Jam Fest, with gates opening at 3 p.m. Regular admission is $5. Bands performing are Trash Talk from Beverly; The Edge of Nowhere from Caldwell; Silver from Cambridge; and Wicked Night from Columbus. There will also be food and games, with free primitive camping available.

Flu shot clinic at

Little Hocking

The Washington County Health Department will conduct a flu shot clinic at the Little Hocking Senior Center from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Bluegrass Frolic

at River Museum

The Bluegrass Frolic will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Ohio River Museum in Marietta. Musicians from several bands will join together to form a jam band for the performance. Lawn chairs and coolers are welcome at the free event.

alumni tractor pull

The Waterford FFA Alumni, in conjunction with the Washington County Antique Tractor and Equipment Club, will host a Speed and Tug Tractor Pull and a Garden Tractor Tug Pull at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Waterford Community Fairgrounds.
