Forensics team opens season with debate at Muskingum U.
Marietta College’s Eric Miranda ’15 (Olmsted Falls) and Ryan Childers ’16 (Vincent) finished first in Parliamentary Debate as the Pioneers opened the 2013-14 forensics and debate season at Muskingum University.
Also competing were Cedarville University, Muskingum, Ohio University and Otterbein University.
Elaine Eakle ’16 (Whipple) earned the Top Novice honors in Informative Speaking with a second-place finish, while Kayleigh Bondor ’17 (Canton) finished fourth in Dramatic Interpretation and Impromptu Speaking.
Chelsea Robinson ’15 (Sulphur, La.) added a fifth-place finish in Dramatic Interpretation.
Haley Bibbee ’17 (Cottonport, La.) also competed for Marietta. Dr. Tomeka Robinson, Director of Forensics, along with Adjunct Professor Sabrina Wittekind, Assistant Director of Forensics, coach the Marietta team.
