The Washington State Community College Board of Trustees will hold its regular monthly meeting at 4 p.m. Monday in the Community Room on campus.

Smitty’s fundraiser

The Marietta Wall of Sound and Smitty’s Pizza will hold a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. today at the Marietta and Reno locations. A portion of the sale of pizza and subs will be donated to the Marietta middle school and high school band programs.

Trunk or Treat at Nazarene church

Marietta First Church of the Nazarene, 100 Mill Creek Road, will have its annual Trunk or Treat at 6 p.m. Sunday. Children may come dressed in costume, however it is a zombie free zone. Service begins at 6 and the evening will end with hot dogs, chips and drinks. Community members are welcome.

Basket bingo by Relay For Life team

The Belpre Cancer Blasters Relay For Life team is sponsoring a Thirty One Purse and assorted “Theme Basket” Bingo fundraiser Saturday at the Barlow Library. Doors will open at noon and games will begin at 1 p.m. The cost is $20 for 20 games. All proceeds will go toward the Washington County Relay For Life.

Antique appraisal at Waterford school

An antique appraisal will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Waterford Elementary School. There is a charge of $5 for the first item and $3 for each additional item to benefit the Lower Muskingum Historical Society.
