Beverly-Waterford Christmas parade

The annual Beverly-Waterford Christmas Parade and Dodge Park lighting ceremony will be held Dec. 1. The parade will form at Waterford High School at 4:30 p.m. and begin at 5:30 p.m., ending at Dodge Park. The lighting ceremony will be held immediately after the parade. There will be seasonal entertainment and free refreshments. Parade entrants are welcome with no registration. A collection of dry and canned goods will be taken at the park for the Beverly-Waterford Food Pantry.

Spaghetti fundraiser at Lawrence school

A spaghetti dinner fundraiser for Milton Eddy and family will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at Lawrence Elementary School in Dart. There will be a country store and 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will be used to cover medical expenses.

Christmas auction

at the fairgrounds

A Christmas auction will be held Dec. 7 at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the auction begins at 6. There will be concessions available. Items available will include electronics, dolls and other toys, purses, jewelry, Amish jelly and jam, crafts and more. Proceeds will support the Washington County Fair.

Used book sale

at Barlow library

There will be a used book sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Barlow Library, 45 White Oak Professional Center on Ohio 339. There will also be crafters from Christmas in the Village.

Soup luncheon at Masonic Lodge

The Beverly Masonic Lodge will hold a soup luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 8. There will be four kinds of soup, sandwiches and dessert. Donations will be accepted. Carryout and delivery will be available by calling 984-2826.

Cookie, candy sale at St. Mark’s

St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 302 Maple St., Belpre, will hold its annual cookie and candy sale from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 7. Cookies and candy will be sold by the pound.
