Tickets available for ‘Madrigal Dinner’

Warren High School Choral Department will present “Madrigal Dinner,” dinner with musical entertainment of the Medieval times, on Saturday, Dec. 14, at St. Ambrose Church in Little Hocking. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The cost is $15 per person, and all tickets will be sold in advance.

Next free community meal set for Dec. 13

The First Unitariarn Universalist Society of Marietta sponsors a community meal on the second Friday of each month.

The next meal is 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 13. Both meat and vegeterian meals are provided. The church fellowship hall at 232 Third St. is handicapped accessible from a ramp next to the religious education building. All are welcome. For information, church office: 373-1238.

Free community lunch will be Dec. 14

The Singles and Doubles Class of the First Baptist Church will be offering its Caring and Sharing Free Community Lunch on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the church at 301 Fourth St., Marietta. The public is invited.

Financial Aid Night at MHS on Thursday

Financial Aid Night will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Marietta High School library. A financial aid representative will review how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and free materials regarding grants, loans and scholarships will be available. Seniors and their parents are encouraged to attend.
