Ashley Nichole Perry and Matthew Paul Guilmette were married at 4:30 p.m. on July 27 at The Quarry Golf Club in Canton with Jon Lobos officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Joe Perry of Marion, Ohio, and Teresa Stoops of Vincent. She is the granddaughter of Bernard and Janet Gossett of Marietta, and Marie Shoemaker of Reno.

The bridegroom is the son of Jeff and Lisa Guilmette of Akron. He is the grandson of Christine Yost of Barberton, Ohio, and Don and Jane Guilmette of Winter Haven, Fla.

The bride wore an ivory fit-and-flare gown with a sweetheart neckline, a satin bodice, and a chapel length train. The empire waist featured delicate beaded detail with the skirt pulled to one side with a large bow. Her headpiece was an illusion veil attached to a jeweled comb of crystals. The bride carried a bouquet of ivory hydrangeas with sprays of apple green crystals with the stems wrapped in ivory satin and crystal details.

Kathy Patterson, aunt of the bride, served as matron of honor; and Trisha McNeill, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Maggie Green; Alex Stoops and Belle Stoops, sisters of the bride; Megan Wray; and Ramse Cavender. They wore cocktail length, charcoal gray colored dresses with a black ribbon sash tied at the waistline with a bow to the side. The bridal attendants carried bouquets of apple green hydrangeas with the stems wrapped with ivory satin.

Best men were Adam Guilmette and Cory Guilmette, brothers of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Dave Green, Josh Hannig, Bret Holden, Joe Tucker and Jon Deal.

Flower girls were Katelyn Patterson and Madelyn Patterson, cousins of the bride. They carried apple green baskets trimmed with gray tulle and dropped green silk flower petals as they walked down the aisle.

Ringbearer was Amilio DiLauro.

Guestbook attendants were Isabella DiLauro and Brittney Hurst. They distributed wedding programs of apple green colored fans featuring gray cut out flowers. The wedding programs were made by the bridegroom’s mother.

Special music for the wedding was provided by guitarist Joe Phillips.

A formal dinner reception and dance followed at The Quarry Golf Club.

All flowers and decorations for the wedding and reception were made by the bride, the bride’s mother, and the bridegroom’s mother. A two-tier wedding cake topped with a large silver “G” was placed above a tower of white iced cupcakes that were made by Alex Stoops, the bride’s sister, and Kate Spector.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Warren High School in Vincent. She received her bachelor’s degree in sociology and political science from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green (Ohio) and her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from The University of Akron. She is currently employed through PCS Counseling Service as a school-based therapist at Findley CLC in Akron.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Garfield High School in Akron. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from The University of Akron. He is currently employed as an accountant for Granite Golf Properties in Medina.

An outside rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom’s parents at Sippo Lake in Canton.

The couple resides in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
