Mercedes Breanne Enoch and Jason Samuel Ware were united in marriage on July 6 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Little Hocking. Father Robert Gallagher officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Christopher and Sandy Enoch of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of Bob and Doni Enoch of Parkersburg and Bob and Carol Johnson of Parkersburg. She is also the great-granddaughter of Irene Smith and the late Don Smith of Parkersburg.
The bridegroom is the son of Sam and Katrina Ware of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of Santina Ware Ellis of Clinton, Ohio and the late Sam Ware of Parkersburg and Bob and Ruth Morehead of Belpre.
Ashley Matheny of Parkersburg served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kala Hall, Kitri Held, Christine Mazzone, and Kayla Ware, sister of the bridegroom. The flower girl was Alyssa Crum, cousin of the bride.
Michael Ware, brother of the bridegroom, served as the best man. The groomsmen were Blake Johnson, Joe Matheny, Mitch McBrayer, and Chris Enoch, brother of the bride. The ring bearer was Samuel Gola, cousin of the bridegroom.
Both are graduates of West Virginia University. The bride graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and audiology and is set to graduate from Ohio University in August of 2014 with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. The bridegroom graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He is employed at DuPont Washington Works as a process engineer.
A reception was held in the gathering hall at St. Ambrose Catholic Church following the ceremony.
Following a honeymoon on a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean, they reside in Parkersburg.
