West Virginian wants more facts exposed

Responding to a letter to the editor on Feb. 2, I would love for the people of West Virginia and the country to be able to see the areas of West Virginia with no potable water and who carry water or have to get water piped in from other areas – as the letter writer mentioned was the case for the large area around Charleston. And her comment about removing a mountain for a few hours of electricity and providing a few hours work for a few coal workers rang so true. We must put efforts into research and use all the less destructive methods of providing energy in the meanwhile.
