Habitat’s dinner, auction Friday
Washington County Habitat for Humanity will hold its 14th annual Paul L. Callihan Dinner and Auction Friday at the Marietta Shrine Club. The silent auction begins at 5:30 p.m., with entertainment at 6, dinner catered by Cowboy Concessions at 6:45 and a live auction with McLeish Auction Services at 8. Pancake, sausage dinner at St. John’s
The Churchtown CWC will serve a pancake/sausage breakfast from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday at St. John Central Grade School in Churchtown. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children, or $20 per family. There will be a bake sale by the local 4-H club at the breakfast.
at Barlow library
The Scenic Hills Lions Club will hold Basket Bingo Feb. 22 in the lower level of the Barlow library. Doors open at 11 a.m. and bingo starts at noon. All baskets are filled and wrapped. Call Susie at 236-3502 to register.
Warren High choir yard sale Saturday
The Warren High School Choir Department will hold a yard sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Warren High School cafeteria.
Mini trade show March 6 in Marietta
A mini trade show hosted by the Marietta-Washington County and Greater Parkersburg convention and visitors bureaus will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. March 6 in the Lafayette Hotel Ballroom. Members will be able to display products to as many as 20 group tour operators. The cost is $50 to give a 10-minute Power Point presentation and $25 to set up a table to display a product. Free legal clinic
Feb. 19 in Marietta
The Washington County Bar Association and Southeastern Ohio Legal Services will offer its next free legal clinic from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 19 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 320 Second St., Marietta. Walk-ins are welcome. The clinic is for Washington County residents unable to afford legal representation (less than 187% of poverty guide.).
