50th: Neil, Nancy Henry
Neil and Nancy Henry of Waterford will be celebrating their 50th anniversary with an open house event.
The couple’s friends and relatives are invited to attend the open house, which will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, March 8, at Beverly-Waterford Township Squad Building, in Beverly.
They were married on March 14, 1964, at Beverly Untied Methodist Church with J. Lee Gorman officiating. He is the son of the late Walter and Martha Henry, and she is the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie Roe.
He has retired from Skinner Firestone after 23 years of service and she is retired from Marietta Memorial Hospital after 37 years of service. They are enjoying their retirement with family, vacationing, gardening, and spoiling their dog “Bo.’
The couple have three children: two sons, Richard (Tracy) Henry of Waterford, and Larry (Nancy) Henry of Waterford; and a daughter, Karen (Steven) Anderson of Vincent.
They also have seven grandchildren: Christopher (Ashley) Henry of Waterford, Eric Henry of Columbus, Devon and Dylan Anderson of Vincent, Kavan, Kaylee, and Jennifer Henry of Waterford. They have one great grandson, “their pride and joy” Owen Henry of Waterford.
