Vet glad Rep. Johnson was his advocate

As a veteran, I have been fighting the Veterans Administration for the benefits I earned for my overseas service. At times over the last seven years, it seemed like I was running head first into a brick wall.

Now, after all of this time, I am seeing some progress. Congressman Bill Johnson has advocated on my behalf constantly since he was first elected and opened an office in Marietta. Last week, I finally got some good news.

I still have some appeals that need to be resolved. I don’t know how they will turn out, but if they don’t turn out well, it won’t be because of a lack of persistence from Johnson. I’m glad to see that a fellow veteran is fighting for backlog and red tape of the VA on my behalf.

Thank you for all your help, Congressman Johnson.
