Medication Take-Back Day April 26

The Memorial Health System’s Medication Take Back Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 26 at the following collection sites: Belpre Senior Center, the corner of Putnam and Second streets in Marietta, White Oak Pharmacy in Barlow, Fort Frye High School, Buckeye Hills/Area Agency on Aging, Devola Medical Center parking lot, Hardwood Components in New Matamoras. Residents can drop off unwanted, unused or expired medications.

Reno Lions plan breakfast, egg hunt

The Reno Lions Club will hold a community breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. April 19 at the Marietta Township Recreation Center. There will be an egg hunt starting at 11. The cost for breakfast is a donation, which will go toward community projects.

New Matamoras library coffee break

The next New Matamoras Library Coffee Break will be at 10 a.m. Monday. The guest speaker will be Carolyn Goddard, author of the book “Nanny’s Attic.” Copies will be available for purchase.

‘Breakfast with the Bunny’ at Ewing

Ewing School, 1701 Colegate Drive, Marietta, will hold its Breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. There will be Easter items available for raffle. All ages are welcome.

Family celebration

at Beverly-Center

There will be a “Homecoming” celebration for Jean Bickford’s family from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Beverly-Center Elementary. Jean’s house burned down on April 1. This is a “drop-in” party so that the family can personally thank the community. Those who would like to bring a new household item can bring it that day. Light refreshments will be served.

Lowell board reschedules meeting

The Village of Lowell Board of Public Affairs meeting has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Village of Lowell Council meeting has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday.
