Copperleaf completes 18 years in business

Copper Leaf Interior Design Studio announces the completion of its 18th year in business. Copper Leaf, owned by Pamela Holschuh, ASID, began her venture in 1996 as a Design Studio on Front Street in Marietta. As the business grew, Holschuh, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Ohio University, began to expand her design services, including commercial and residential design services, new construction, remodeling, renovation, and project management. In 2005, Holschuh moved the studio to 710 Lancaster St. in Marietta, and shifted the business from a retail entity to a professional studio with a focus on design services and products. The Copper Leaf team consists of Interior Designer, Robyn Spataro, ASID, office manager, Beth Colombini and marketing director, Diane Gottfried who work together to provide a professional, and personal level of service to the public and their customer base.

In the fall of 2013, Copper Leaf located their studio to 415 Gilman Avenue, along the Muskingum River in Marietta. This newest location more than tripled the previous space, and provided the opportunity to move forward in their relationship with international window treatment specialists Hunter Douglas, as a Showcase Priority Dealer. This change expands the product lines that Copper Leaf Interior Design Studio can now offer exclusively in the Mid-Ohio Valley. In addition to window treatments, they have also expanded their furnishing selection by becoming a dealer for American Leather furniture, with several pieces on display at their showroom.

In the recent past, there have been many exciting changes and endeavors. In 2012 and 2013, Copper Leaf has earned design awards from the American Society of Interior Design, the largest professional organization in the industry. Additionally, the company has been awarded Customer Satisfaction awards in 2012 and 2013 through Houzz, the online renovation and new build resource powerhouse for homeowners.

Most recently, in March of 2014, Copper Leaf Interior Design Studio made its television debut. After being contacted by the Food Network to work on the television show Food Court Wars, the company decided to explore this latest challenge.

In addition to providing a comprehensive array of design services, Copper Leaf Interior Design Studio also offers an extensive selection of furnishings, accessories and lighting. The website,, was completely reworked in 2012 to showcase the company’s considerable portfolio, provide industry information, and provide interaction with the public on different platforms, such as Facebook, Pinterest, and Houzz
