Bishop

Tom and Sandra Bishop, of Belpre, announce the birth of their son, Johnathan Andrew Bishop. He was born at 6:06 p.m. April 15, 2014, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 4.6 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long. The baby has two siblings, Zachary Alan Bishop and Emily Nicole Bishop.

Grandparents are Joe and Donnis Bishop of Ellenboro, W.Va., the late John Ash, and Terri Ash and Bill Ollom of Marietta. Great-grandparents are the late Rayph Ash, Reva Ash of Marietta, Mike and Sandra Newlon of Marietta, Pat and Shirley Morris of Williamstown, and Delores Ollom of Marietta.

Carpenter

Christopher and Patricia Carpenter, of Newport, announce the birth of their son, Brady Owen Carpenter. He was born at 3:57 p.m. April 2, 2014, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 19 inches long. The baby has two siblings, Dylan Jay Carpenter and Zackary.

Grandparents are Gary and Debbie Seevers of Newport, Darlene Carpenter of Marietta, and the late James Carpenter. Great-grandparents are Janet Grahame of Newport and the late Tom Grahame, the late James and Tressa Gessel and the late Tom and Vera Seevers. Great-great-grandparent is the late Gertrude Benson.

Shields

Morgan Shields and Damon Newlon, of Little Hocking, announce the birth of their son, Maxwell Parker Shields. He was born at 5:53 p.m. April 21, 2014, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He weighed 9 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Christina “MeMe” Shields of Davenport, Fla., and Fred and Savannah Newlon of Little Hocking.

McConnell

William and Janel McConnell, of Lower Salem, announce the birth of their daughter, Jaselyn Faith Mc-Connell. She was born at 3:47 p.m. April 5, 2014, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 3.5 ounces, and was 19 3/4 inches long.

Grandparents are Judi and Roy Luke of Whipple and Linda and Rex of Lower Salem. Great-grandparents are Barry and Mary Stark of Whipple, Lewis and Ruth McConnell of Lewisville, and Junior and the late Helen Russell of Woodsfield.
