Summer dance workshops at PACE

Summer Dance at PACE Performing Arts Connection & Education will be conducting several intensives and workshops to choose from for ages 1 and up. Whether dancing for fun or training for a career, the experienced and professional faculty can help you reach your goals. PACE’s summer intensive and workshop faculty include Morgan Heflin, Michelle Bowling, Lindsey Florence, Rachel Romage, Lori Patton and Jessica Marlow.

June 2 to 6: Grown Up and Me: Sunrise Surprises, five day Dance Camp. A fun and creative dance class designed for our youngest dancers to experience with one adult every morning for one week. Come explore foundations of musicality and motor development while dancing.

June 2 to 5: Contemporary 4 day Intensive: An opportunity for experienced dancers ages 9 and up to study to study Contemporary dance for four evenings. Minimum two years of dance training required.

June 11 to 14: PACE 4 day Summer Dance Intensives; Level I-II ages 5-8; Level III ages 9-up; Level IV-V ages 13 and up. This camp is designed for our professional and competitive minded students. This Intensive will incorporate a variety of professional faculty and instruction to diversify and maximize learning for our students in four days. Ballet, jazz, tap, modern, improv and African jazz are a few of the classes offered. This is the most requested camp. Limit 20 dancers per level.

June 16 to 20: Fairytale five day workshop for ages 3 to 8. Make new friends and take ballet and jazz with our magical fairytale theme. This will be a fun way to learn how to dance. Hip- Hop, Jazz and Musical Theatre Camp for ages 9 and up. Designed for our recreational dancers and actors who want to learn new moves and theatre dance styles.

Aug. 4 to 7: DIVA Camp; For dancers age 5 to 10. Divas will learn staging, prop and set design, create hairstyles, and about stage make-up. A diva wouldn’t be a diva without dance moves to a popular song. A mini performance will conclude this camp.
