Ball coaches should act more like grown-ups

I was in town to see my seven year old granddaughter’s baseball game on Friday June 27. I was shocked at how the coaches acted on the opposing team. The umpire was a 13-year-old young man and the coaches on the opposing team were arguing with him on a call he made. He wasn’t going to go up against these adults. These children are 7 and 8-year-olds. They should be playing for fun but these men who call themselves coaches were out to win no matter what. This was a championship game but they are 7 and 8-year-old kids. I can not believe how these grown men were acting over a Little League game. They should be teaching these kids and letting them have fun. I think some of these coaches who are also fathers should stop and think about how they were acting and what kind of an example they are setting for these young people.
