Living, moving, being in Christ

Acts 17:28 For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also certain of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring.

  • .for in Him we live and move and are. In Him we have our life, our spiritual movement, and in Him we are.

We are completely absorbed into oneness with Jesus, in our new birth. We have the life of Jesus, the anointing of Jesus, the love of Jesus, and the same Father as Jesus. We also have the spiritual image and likeness of Jesus.

As Jesus is, so are we in this world, here and now. The Greater One is in you, with you, is for you, and is faithfully looking after you. Since the Holy Trinity, the Father, Son, and Spirit, are for you, believe in you, live in you, who or what in life can prevail against you?

We have God’s favor for us as His children and as His servants, and that favor will never leave us. We are anointed, empowered, enabled, and authorized with the power and authority of Jesus. The Holy Spirit bathes us in His grace, just as He did repeatedly to Jesus in His life and ministry.

Jesus is our redemption, sanctification, justification, and the wisdom to know of it and to walk in it. Jesus doesn’t only give us God’s peace, He is God’s peace living in us by His Spirit. We’re alive in Jesus and He’s alive in us. Our life is in Him, our ministry is in Him, our entire being is filled with Him. Our focus in our union with Him isn’t to be what we do, but rather, in whose we already are. Yielding to the flow and leading of the Holy Spirit enables us to be used by God as His holy and spotless vessels of love, truth, and grace.
